This guidance is not intended to apply to other settings whose primary purpose is not health care, such as schools or worksites, because many of the aspects of the populations and feasible countermeasures will differ substantially across settings. However, this guidance's elements may apply to specific sites within non-health care settings where care is routinely delivered (e.g., a medical clinic embedded in a workplace or school).
