SIREN
The Health Alert Network, HAN/SIREN, provides the tools and capacity for rapid, reliable, and secure web-based alerting as well as communication and organization-based health information sharing and collaboration. Siren is the emergency planning, alerting, and notification system for IDPH. It serves as a single central point for finding, creating, and sharing information. It also provides emergency preparation for federal, state and local offices. In short, SIREN is an all hazards approach to emergency preparedness, response, outbreak notification and investigation, and recovery.
