Free COVID-19 Vaccinations and Testing Available at Illinois State Fair in Du Quoin

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health will be providing free COVID-19 vaccinations and testing at two locations at the Du Quoin State Fair August 27 – September 6, 2021.

LOCATION DAYS HOURS
Midway Drive August 27 - September 6 noon – 9 p.m.
Main Street August 27 - September 6 noon – 9 p.m.

The one-dose Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be available for free at both locations on the state fairgrounds in Du Quoin.  COVID-19 testing will also be available at both vaccination locations.  Please bring a photo ID.  Proof of immigration status is not required.  The J&J vaccine is only authorized for individuals 18 years and older.  The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is authorized for individuals 12 years and older.  More information about COVID-19 vaccine can be found at http://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/vaccine-faq.

Masks are required to be worn in all indoor locations on the fairgrounds and in the grandstand for concerts.  Masks in outdoor locations are not required, but are encouraged.
