| The overdose data dashboard provides details on non-fatal and fatal overdoses and includes information on a variety of substances. Information on associated health outcomes, harm reduction efforts, and links to the Illinois Helpline are also included. The goal is to provide information that can guide intervention and prevention efforts across Illinois. The data are provided by IDPH’s Syndromic Surveillance Program, Vital Records, Office of Disease Control, and Office of Women’s Health and Family Services, and Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use and Prevention and Recovery. The revised overdose data dashboard was funded through the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Overdose Data 2 Action-States (OD2A-S) grant. |
