Free COVID-19 Testing at Aquatic Zoo in Mt. Vernon

MT. VERNON – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is setting up a mobile COVID-19 testing site at the Aquatic Zoo in Mt. Vernon, Illinois beginning Monday, October 26, 2020 and running through November 8, 2020. Anyone can be tested, regardless of symptoms or immigration status.  There is no cost to the individual for testing, but they should bring their insurance card if they have one.  However, insurance is not required.  Specimens will be collected using a simple nasal swab.
