Public Hearings For Consolidation Of Child Health Exam And Immunization Rules

SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is holding two public hearings to receive comments about combining the Child Health Examination Code and Immunization Code to address vaccination requirements for all children attending public and private schools, daycares, and child care facilities. Combining the Codes will also incorporate implementing the use of the Certificate of Religious Exemption form.

Proposed revisions to the Child Health Exam Code (77 IL Adm Code 665) and the Immunization Code (77 IL Adm Code 695) were published in the Illinois Register on March 4, 2016 and can be found at http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/index/register/register_vo....

Each person wishing to speak will be limited to three minutes and will need to submit a written copy of their comments at that time.
