Digging Deep into Diabetes: 2018 Prevention and Self-Management Symposium - Carterville

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Illinois Health and Hospital Association (IHA) will be hosting the Digging Deep into Diabetes: 2018 Prevention and Self-Management Symposium.  The Symposium will be held from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on May 22 at the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation in Springfield, May 23 at John A. Logan College in Carterville and May 31 at the NIU Conference Center in Naperville. 

 
This all-day program offers you an in-depth look into Diabetes Prevention and Diabetes Self-Management Programs. You’ll also learn about the partnerships that can be created to implement these programs. Additional information will be shared on the Illinois Diabetes Action Plan.
 
Continuing education contact/clock hours will be provided by the Continuing Education Institute of Illinois in collaboration with the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine.

There is no cost for the training. However, there is a $35 food and beverage fee for the day.
