The IMMB is IDPH’s primary publication for scientific articles of interest to public health communities and professionals in Illinois.  Articles in the IMMB are prepared by staff from IDPH, local health departments, hospitals, and academic institutions and provide data analysis, description, interpretation, and discussion. Three types of manuscripts are currently accepted:

  • Original research and data analyses
  • Review articles
  • Special or short communications
