These data are limited to COVID-19-related information and may be removed and/or no longer updated once the measures are no longer in use or the COVID-19 pandemic has ended. The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) may have excluded certain data that may identify individual persons or if they otherwise include information prohibited by state or federal law from being publicly released. Researchers seeking individually identifiable data must request such individually identifiable data from IDPH’s Institutional Review Board by going to https://www.dph.illinois.gov/data-statistics/irb (Section 690.200 (g) of the Illinois Administrative Code).

  • COVID-19 Cases and Deaths Age Demographics by County This dataset contains counts of people tested for COVID-19 in Illinois and their results. Data in this section are limited to data collected beginning March 10, 2020 through the date of the last update. Only Illinois residents are included based on the home address as provided by the medical provider. Only polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based tests, and Antigen tests are included, and only one test is counted for each individual. Tests are counted on the day the specimen was reported publicly.
  • COVID-19 Cases and Deaths Age Demographics by Day This dataset contains counts of people tested for COVID-19 in Illinois and their results. Data in this section are limited to data collected beginning March 10, 2020 through the date of the last update.
