Illinois WISEWOMAN

The WISEWOMAN (Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for WOMen Across the Nation) program focuses on reducing cardiovascular disease risk factors among high-risk women. Addressing risk factors such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, obesity, inactivity, diabetes, and smoking greatly reduces a woman’s risk of CVD-related illness and death.

Million Hearts®

Million Hearts® 2022 is a national initiative to prevent 1 million heart attacks and strokes within 5 years. It focuses on implementing a small set of evidence-based priorities and targets that can improve cardiovascular health for all.

Illinois Tobacco Quitline 1-866-QUIT-YES (1-866-784-8937)

This FREE resource is for tobacco users who want to permanently quit smoking. A team of registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and counselors are available 7 days a week 7AM-11PM to answer questions and provide support. Translation services are available in more than 200 languages.
