These data represent the amount of COVID-19 vaccine currently allocated to the State of Illinois. These amounts are not reflective of the vaccine earmarked for Illinois through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program, the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) direct allocations, or allocations to federal agencies (e.g. the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Department of Defense, and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs).

Local Health Department First Doses
First doses are calculated by allocating doses to providers that receive them directly from the state, including long-term care, Federally Qualified Health Care Centers, Safety Net Hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, Illinois National Guard sites, Illinois Retail Pharmacy, Minority Health and Mobile Teams, and other state-determined providers; allocating second doses based on when first doses were administered; and then allocating the remaining doses to local health departments. The local health department first dose allocation is distributed to local health departments based on the local health department’s percent of the Illinois population.
Second doses are calculated for all provider types and separated by county. This includes second doses for Illinois National Guard missions, Illinois Department of Corrections, Federally Qualified Health Centers receiving direct allocation from the state, local health departments, and any other provider receiving vaccine from the state allocation. If a local health department directs its allocation to a provider in another county, the second doses would be accounted for in the county where that provider is enrolled.
