Governor Pritzker joined local leaders to discuss the COVID-19 response in the Metro East region

East St. Louis, Ill. - Governor Pritzker and Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike highlighted the new COVID-19 mitigation efforts, implemented in the Metro East area on August 18th. Region 4 has reported three consecutive days of a test positivity rate of 8 percent or higher, triggering additional mitigation efforts as outlined in the state’s COVID-19 Mitigation Plan.
