Due to unforeseen circumstances related to the EMS Licensing Database and moving to the GL Solutions Version 6, EMS license renewals may still be delayed. EMS license holders that expire on June 30, 2018 may not have sufficient time to complete the renewal process and have their new license by July 1, 2018.
Therefore, all EMS license holders will have until July 31, 2018 to complete their license renewal and obtain a renewed printed license. Your expiration date will remain in June i.e. June 30, 2022.
This memo shall serve as verification that all Illinois EMS Licensees with a printed expiration/lapse date of June 30, 2018 are valid through July 31, 2018. If individual written verification is required, please contact the Springfield office at 217-785-2080.
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services has also been made aware of this delay.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
